  • Fused is now on Arefaktor radio!

    A month ago I made a rash announcement that TFWP would be taking a break – ostensibly after the loss of our wonderful cat, Professor Yaffle, who was hit and killed by a car.

    This was posted across our social media pages and Mr Rusty Egan (who had, late last year, started following our Mixcloud feed) replied to our Tweet saying, ‘I can take care of them while you are away if you love it electronic’ with his Friday evening show, The Electronic Family Tree on Artefaktor Radio.

    Anyhoo, one thing lead to another and Rusty recommended us to the guys at Artefaktor Radio, and Renato (founder and CEO of Artefaktor Radio) kindly invited me to join their roster of presenters, DJs, curators, selectors, which I very quickly, and without hesitation, agreed to do.

    So, as of the 7th February 2019 show TFWP goes out on Artefaktor Radio from 8pm, while still being broadcast on Fylde Coast Radio from 9pm.

  • Fused to move to Fylde Coast Radio

    From Thursday 14th September ‘The Fused Wireless Programme’ will be coming to you from ‘Fylde Coast Radio’ continuing our fortnightly rotation thereafter.

    Not only have we moved station, and day, but we will be going out at the earlier time of 19.00 UK time, for the customary two hours.

    You can listen to Fylde Coast Radio – a community radio station – via their site (link below – new site going live anon, ETA 10th September), or by using their apps, links on home page. Alternatively via the cross platform (Mac / PC / Linux / iOS / Android) app and site ‘TuneIn’.

    As yet there is no studio webcam – something we’re investigating – but there will be a chatroom. We’ve set that up through another cross platform app, ‘Discord’. Follow the invite link below to become a user and secure your access ahead of time.

    Other than that, there is no change to Fused, all the usual blether and BS amid some great music from across the usual genre range and eras.

    So, thank you Globegig Radio for last 18 months, and thank you Fylde Coast Radio for opening your doors to The Fused Wireless Programme.

    Look forward to ‘seeing’ you there on the 14th.

  • Globegig Radio to close its doors…

    Sadly, our association with Globegogradio.com is coming to an end.

    Our host and benefactor are shutting down the studio after five years providing a platform for shows like Fused, doing it for the love without commercial sponsorship or revenue.

    Our last show will go out, live as usual, on Friday 1st September 2017. However, throughout August we will be in the studio every Friday, rather than alternate weeks.

    All we can add is to say a huge and heartfelt ‘Thank You’ to the guys at Globegig for affording Fused the opportunity to put a show out from their studio and giving us the freedom to play what we want, and say what we want. We will be forever grateful.

    Consequently, we are presently looking for a new home for The Fused Wireless Programme, as well as for §Wired§, presented by Keith Whitham on the alternate Fridays.
