Fused was a weekly staple for nine years…<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Presented by Myk.R<\/a> playing new music from Synthpop through Industrial, EBM, Avant-garde & Experimental, with occasional forays into ambient, early pioneers and various electronica and random trips down memory lane including classic 007\/Blitz fodder; New Wave, ‘Krautrock’, New Romanticism, Post Punk of yore, etc… We like to think of ourselves as Genre Fluid<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The format is generally; Hour One – The Foot-tapping Hour – synthpop and lyric led tracks. Hour Two – The Chair-dance Hour – more dance oriented, including House, Techno, Tech-house, Trance, etc. Hour Three – The Boom-boom Room – gets a little heavier, industrial dance, EBM and ting.<\/p>\n

Ultimately, if we like it, (and there’s a synth in there) we play it, bearing in mind that we tend to dream of electric sheep, which might explain how the show is put together.<\/p>\n

After the event, The Fused Wireless Programme<\/em> is made available on Mixcloud<\/a> as a ‘Listen Again<\/em>‘ service, for anyone who is unable to tune in for the live broadcast of any given show – we’re more than sensitive to the fact that having a global audience is offset by time zone differentials. In addition, Mixcloud provides an archive of past shows occasionally with extra tracks we wanted to play but couldn’t due to time limitations.<\/p>\n

The archived shows are also available on this site<\/em> on the, erm, ‘Archive<\/a>‘ pages, including the playlists for each which are searchable (see search box at the foot of the home page).<\/p>\n
